Daniel Tosh

Date night! On Friday my husband took me to see Danial Tosh at the Congress Theater in Chicago.
I rarely go to comedy shows. I am so glad we went because he was so funny that my face hurt from laughing so hard.

Weekend Recipes

I tried two new recipes this past weekend.

I ran across this first recipe for Maple Sour Cream Walnut muffins on Design*Sponge. They looked so delicious and were so well photographed that I decided that I would try to make a vegan version of my own. They came out moist but I felt like they were not sweet enough. The recipe uses maple syrup a in place of sugar as the sweetener. I think next time I will use an additional 1/4 cup of maple syrup to see if that gives the desired flavor I'm looking for.
